Lesson 24
The most important sex organ is the brain.
I didn’t understand this one until I really felt the hit of depression. Now I do. If your brain isn’t in gear then nothing else is going to play. No matter how much you try to convince yourself, how much you talk yourself through it, it just won’t play.
You can lie all you like. Say the right words, make the right moves but nothing. Really you just want the whole damn thing to be over and done with. Ideally you don’t want it to have to be an issue in the first place.
Unless you do. But then you can’t and it’s worse because you just want to curl up in a corner and be ashamed and guilty and feel about 2 inches tall and pathetic.
If your brain *is* in gear however then you are well away. With Dennis pushed into his box in the corner so that you can think and imagine and dream then the world is your oyster. And the bedroom your playground.
And if your brain is in gear and you’re in love? Then there are no words for it. None at all. Just colours and sparkles and heat and emotions that threaten to make you explode into a million pieces.
