MONDAY:
Taken in Tavistock Square where I was relaxing with my Brother-In-Law in a moment of calm after the high-speed action of Marathon weekend before I had to run and catch my train. The plaque on the back of the bench we were on was inspiring in the space of just one simple line:
WORLD PEACE WILL COME THROUGH THE WILL OF ORDINARY PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF.
TUESDAY:
It is World Book Night tonight so Caius and I headed to the library for their event and came back with this little stack of second hand books (and enjoyed some yummy cake and biscuits). Now we just need to find time to read them all!
WEDNESDAY:
We picked up two very tired Smalls from Daddy’s house today, both sporting head-dresses from their toddler group. Arthur looked a bit like a praying Indian when he fell asleep (if Indians had bright yellow shoe laces and mis-matching orange socks, that is…)
THURSDAY:
It is the Smalls’ cousin Riley’s birthday on Sunday so today we started up a card-making factory for him.
FRIDAY:
Artie started really potty training today. It is currently slightly more in the potty than on the floor but only just. He has had MANY changes of pants. It’s weird seeing my baby running round in big boy pants 😦
SATURDAY:
Today I realised that although I had been organised and made the kids make Riley cards, I hadn’t made ours yet so that’s what I spent my afternoon doing. And eating chocolate, of course!
SUNDAY:
Happy Christening Day Riley Connor 🙂
i love that you chose a theme for the week and yellow is such a good one with the spring weather we have been having (at last). i hope the christening went well. love the daffs – such great yellow flowers. and what a cutie in his yellow pants x
