The kids have rediscovered their scooters recently so a trip to the park was required to use the skate park section!

I noticed Artie prancing about in Tori’s fluffy heels and said ‘Strike a Pose!’ – He did as he was told 😉

Today we introduced my parents to our local brewery tour – Caius looked quite pro behind the pour your own bar.

My fun today was taking some time out to do some baking and making some rhubarb and custard cupcakes using rhubarb from my parents’ garden.

I have been making some time to read more recently and I’m really enjoying it – especially as I have been reading books I want to read, rather than just review books.

Today I traveled up to Newcastle Upon Tyne on the train to go see S Club 7 in concert with my big sister and best friend from school. It was great fun having a girly catch up and S Club were amazing. My 14 year old self has had a real dream come true 😀

Today was spent exploring (and shopping in) Newcastle city centre and the MetroCentre before heading home on the train again. The toilet signs in Newcastle Station made me giggle – they all look so desperate for a wee!!
