Ah, Monday and already I resort to putting the B&W filter on my camera 😉 I love how neither child has their feet on the floor in this shot as they race around the park skate/scoot track.

Today my parents treated us all to a day out at West Midlands Safari Park – There were quite a few black and white animals for me to choose from but I like this shot of the Grevy’s Zebra the best.

Today was The W Factor day at Warwick Castle and we had a fab time – the weather was great, too. It’s our first visit since the boathouse burned down and it was a bit sad to see the previously beautiful building in this state – though the blackened boathouse still has a sort of charm about it.

I spent a lot of today ignoring the housework and reading instead. I finished Starring Kitty and then started (and finished!) Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda (pictured) – taking my total of finished books in the LGBT Readathon to three.

Today was housework catch-up day and I forgot to take a photo of something interesting – so I took a shot of the keyboard because it fits the theme nicely.

Today my lunatic boyfriend and lots of other mad people swam the Dee Mile in Chester. It was apparently 14 degrees in the water. I’m not entirely sure why any of them thought this was a good idea but apparently it was fun. The Smalls and I were happy playing on the river bank watching. This photo is from afterwards when Caius was too tired to get his wetsuit off and got stuck so, being the loving girlfriend that I am, I laughed at him and took a photo because his black wetsuit and white skin fitted my week’s theme before helping him get it off 😉

I thought for today I would take a photo of myself because I don’t do that very often and I find I prefer photos of me when they are in black and white! So here I am, and yes, my outfit is Harry Potter themed. Just because I can.
