Well, there are hundreds of songs I could pick for this one because I know lots of people! Hmm, what (and who) to choose..
Unholy Confessions – Avenged Sevenfold
This song reminds me of Paul, one of my best friends from Uni, who I no longer get to see anywhere near as much as I’d like. He probably hasn’t a clue why this song reminds me of him but I picked it because the first time I heard it was when we were out together at Discord and I spent half the night desperately trying to remember the lyrics so I could look it up when I got home and find out who/what it was. It was a night not long after I’d found out I was pregnant with Tori so I wasn’t drinking and was feeling a little twitchy in a small club full of moshing peoples (loved it too much to not go at all though). Typically I managed to utterly accidentally pull the only chav in the rock club just by having the misfortune to be next to him in the bar queue. Paul was my knight in shining armour that night, playing the protective boyfriend for me to scare off Mr. Over-Enthusiastic. It was pretty hilarious.
If I hadn’t picked this song, it would have been So Much For My Happy Ending by Avril Lavigne due to kareoke in my front room the night before Tori’s christening… *sniggers*
