Am I in my mid-thirties? Yes.
Am I just as susceptible to ridiculous celebrity crushes as I was in my teens? Also yes.
Are some of them the exact same as they were when I was in my teens? Of course. Love endures.
So, who have been my main crushes this year? Do I have a type? Let’s find out!

Ianto Jones (Character in Torchwood played by Gareth David-Lloyd)
He’s a nerd with a heart of gold and soul of steel. And he makes my tummy do very funny things.
Still.
I’ve rewatched Torchwood (again) this year and the love is still strong.
I even insisted on visiting his shrine when we visited Cardiff on our mini-moon in October.
Jamie Spafford (from Sorted Food)
I love the entire Sorted gang, but I am definitely most in love with Jamie. He is adorable, his eyebrow game is strong, he makes me laugh, and gets so excited about everything that it’s contagious. He is also a chaos gremlin, and everyone knows I love a chaos gremlin.
Also he reminds me of Caius quite a lot. That might have something to do with it. (Caius has even said himself, that Jamie is the one in their friendship group that is the equivalent of him in his.)
Dan Vasc (Metal Singer)
Not much to say about this one other than he is a beautiful man with a beautiful voice and I may have listened to his music very loudly on repeat quite frequently whenever I have been home alone.
Kenny Doughty (known for playing DS Aidan Healy in ITV’s drama Vera)
He’s from Barnsley and he’s just a bit of a dish really. I haven’t watched the Christmas special as of the time of writing this, but I do know it is his last episode and I am Very Afraid for his character. I will definitely have tissues to hand, just in case.
