What I Cooked Wednesday #9

We have eaten for the last two weeks… and I have failed to take photographs of almost all of it.

Pictured above is a Sorted Food twist on Macaroni Cheese which we all enjoyed, a cheesy sausage, bean, and potato casserole, and a Chinese takeaway (reward for a family day of gardening). Finishing up with Arthur’s birthday cake which I did not make, but I did decorate. It’s a Wooper from Pokémon if you were wondering, and the candles were really funky ones that had flames that burned the colour of the wax.

This Week’s Meals:

Pizza – Squbs = Pizza. Standard.

Creamy Smoked Haddock Pasta (Sorted Sidekick App) – I always forget to cook fish, but enjoy it when I do remember. And smoked haddock is my favourite so I am looking forward to this one.

Cheddar and Pancetta Savoury Bread Pudding with side salad (Sorted Sidekick App) – This looks stodgy, bacon-y and delicious. I am excited.

Sausage Casserole with Yorkshire Pudding (Sorted Sidekick App) – I have now made this one so often that I barely need to look at the recipe for it anymore. Who doesn’t love Yorkshires?? (And if any of you just answered ‘me’ then you can leave now, because what?!)

Chicken and Miso Gravy Parmentier Poutine (Sorted Sidekick App) – To put it bluntly, this was epic. Fairly simple recipe and it tastes SO GOOD. Chips and gravy on a whole other level.

Macaroni Cheese with Peas & BaconSimple family favourite that I don’t need a recipe for and always ends in empty plates.

Spring starts soon, right?? Because it has felt mighty wintery this last week or so and I am bored of being cold and slightly damp. And so is the dog.
