Between cooking sausages multiple ways, there was a lot of eating out last week. And true to style, I mostly forgot to take pictures of anything.
However pictured is the epic belly pork & mustard mash I had for lunch out with my brother-in-law, and the starter Caius and I shared at Gusto Italian in Leeds on our way to a Z4 Run for the weekend.
I was good and tried an olive. They are still foul. My personal nickname for them of ‘disappointing grapes’ still stands. Bleurgh.
This Week’s Planned Meals:
Pizza – There may not have been Squbs this week due to it being Easter break, but it was still pizza for dinner on Monday because Caius and I had only just got home, and the kids had just got back from my parents’ and we hadn’t done any food shopping. Quick visit to M’s for pizza it was!
Crispy Chicken Mac’n’Cheese (Sorted Sidekick App) – This was a tasty level up on normal mac’n’cheese. Perfect for a cold, wet day!
Chicken Fajitas – As requested by Arthur!
Quick Chicken Biryani (Sorted Sidekick App) – It’s a chicken kinda week this week…
Korean Chicken and Rice Tray Bake (Sorted Sidekick App) – See?! No idea what this one will be like – it involves gochujang as a main flavouring and I’ve never used (or eaten) it before!
Bacon Sandwiches and Chips – Easy crowd pleasing win here! Whoop!
And I haven’t decided what I’m cooking for Easter so that will be a surprise to all of us.
