I have just learned that today is international dog day, so obviously I needed to celebrate my favourite doggo in the whole universe: Robert Chase the Red Rottweiler (more commonly known as Chase/Chasey Bear/Oi!).
From tiny rescue pup, to the enormous clumsy bundle of idiotic joy that he is today – he turned our world upside-down and made it infinitely better.
He drives me potty, but also makes me laugh, centres me, gives the best full-body cuddles and reminds me that no matter what is going on in the universe, there is always happiness to be found in the chaos.
And of course a bonus shout out goes to my three other favourite dogs – Kewmaloo, Jet Wash Wiggle Bum, and Poppywoppydoodah who are also the best doggos in the world.
So happy international dog day everyone, and to all the puppos out there – you are the best boy/girl and you always deserve a biscuit.
