I was going to open this with something about how I was meant to have posted on Tuesday, but it turns out that today is ‘National Be Late For Something Day’ so I won’t. I’m late and now I’m pretending it was on purpose! (No I have not just made this up, it’s an actual thing…)
Next up on the chart is: Tawny, Rose, Eggplant (or Aubergine to those of us who speak plain English), Harbour, and Hunter.
Oh boy, I think I’m going to have fun finding one for Eggplant/Aubergine – that’s even worse than Eggnog!
And at what point did ‘Harbour’ become a colour?

Tawny Moon by Albert Macintosh/Kate Bush
Written by Kate Bush and performed by her son Albert Macintosh, this is from a live album (Before The Dawn) but was never officially released as a single.
You can tell it’s a Kate Bush song, is all I’m going to say.
Every Rose Has Its Thorn by Poison
Lots of excellent things came from 1988 *wink wink*
Eggplant by Michael Franks
…I accidentally listened to the lyrics and now I’m confused.
‘I can’t recall her name, but eggplant is her game.’
Sittin’ On The Dock Of The Bay by Otis Redding
Docks and Harbours are practically the same thing, right? I’m sure they’re both definitely shades of grey, anyway.
Hunter by Dido
I was never a big Dido fan, but I do like this one.
(Could her outfit in the video be more 90s if it tried??)
