Good Afternoon Bolsters!

Out of interest, has anyone started work on any sort of houseboat recently? Because I’m beginning to think we might all need them soon…

But for now, let us drown out the rain with some music.

The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park

I know a lot of people are uPsEt that Linkin Park are making new music with a female lead singer, but actually I think it is perfect. Nobody is going to be able to replace Chester, and by doing this, by having a whole new start, they are not trying to. Linkin Park have always played around with their sound and style, and I think this new band formation follows on and fits in to that just perfectly.

They are not trying to ‘replace’ Chester, they don’t want to, nobody ever could. But they want to continue his legacy by carrying on with the band, and I think this is a great way of doing it. Also Emily is awesome.

I am so ready to rock on into this new era of Linkin Park.

Well, I have listened to other things this week, so I think the whatever it was that had me entirely fixated on them has passed, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t still been on pretty heavy rotation…
