The Longest Book You’ve Read

The Lord Of The Rings by J R R Tolkein much the same as a million other people probably (I read all of them in an omnibus edition before you go all ‘that’s three books’ on me).

Well, I *say* I’ve read it…I actually gave up about five chapters before the end of the last book. By which time I’m sure there’d been about six endings already and I was, quite frankly, fed up of it all.
