Arthur’s hips are just fine.
I won’t lie, I was a bit worried when the doctor referred Arthur to the hospital after his 6 week check up because his right hip was ‘a bit clicky.’ I know hips can be fixed and all that but it doesn’t stop you worrying, especially when you have to stand by as someone pokes, prods and wiggles your bundle of joy until they wail miserably.
Luckily, after two sessions of being prodded at by two different people, Arthur has been given the all clear. Strong joints, good muscle tone and ‘just a bit clicky’ which he propbably got from me to be honest – I crunch all the time. Sy regularly laughs at me for it.

I Feel Better.
I had a couple of rubbish days this week. One in particular had Sy almost running for the hills – I was useless. I shouted. I cried. I curled up in a ball and waited for the world to go away and leave me alone. Even Tori and Arthur couldn’t cheer me up that day.
I don’t think there was really anything wrong as such, I was just tired and had the sort of day where you drop stuff, break stuff and both babies decide to cry at the same moment when you are somewhere you can’t do anything about it.
After that day it all went up-hill. Me and Sy had cuddles and sat and talked, I had a couple of (ridiculously) early nights to catch some extra sleep and I can safely say that I now feel a million times better.

I have new clothes!
I was lucky enough to win a Bella Mama Breastfeeding top over on MummyLoves‘ blog AND I ordered a fab dress from there too to wear to my cousin’s upcoming wedding. They arrived today and they’re both gorgeous. I’m particularly excited about the dress because I haven’t worn one for ages for fear of flashing to the world when I tried to feed Arthur. Plus it’s red. I like red.
I am a happy bear 🙂
Yay for happy!
I like happy 🙂 x

I am so pleased your worries are over about the hip thing. Motherhood brings so many worries, both real and imagined. Both difficut to deal with and ensures days where you just find it hard to cope. That is normal! Well done on competition win. I won 5 in 3 days this week so might have to try the Lottery tomorrow lol! My other reasons are at http://gigglingatitall.blogspot.com
