Lesson 19
It’s never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
I had a perfectly happy childhood and I am having a perfectly happy second one with my two children leading the way and I’m sure, one day, when they’re big enough and ugly enough to face the world alone I shall have another one without their assistance that will be just as silly and fun. If you look at the world through the eyes of a child everything is exciting and full of wonder, if you look at it as an adult everything is dull and comes at a price you don’t want to pay. I know which I prefer.
