#30DaysWild 2020

We are, once more, joining in with the Wildlife Trusts’ 30 Days Wild scheme and have been doing our best to do a random act of wildness each day in June.

We have watched live webcams of Osprey nests, played in the rain, spotted bugs, litter picked, had nature-themed school days, indulged in quite a lot of David Attenborough documentaries, made wild art, done some wild yoga, and enjoyed our garden and all the things that are living and growing in it!

Getting out and exploring and learning about the outdoors is one of my favourite things to do, and this June has provided us with all weathers from hot and sunny to almost three solid days of thunderstorm after thunderstorm. They were ace! Incredible lightning and even a few rumbles of thunder so strong I felt them through the furniture in the house!!

I am enjoying taking a moment each day to focus on something wild, I try to stay wild all year round, but 30 Days Wild always gives me the kick I need to get back into it.

This week I am hoping to get the kids decorating some insect houses for the garden to go with the butterfly/bee feeders they have already made.

Do you join in with 30 Days Wild? What has been your favourite thing to do so far this year?

Please leave a comment, I'd love to hear what you think :)
