Today I was pottering about in the garden doing some weeding, when I noticed that the Wild Cherry tree in our hedge has fruit on it this year!
In all the time we’ve lived here, I’ve never spotted it fruiting before. Maybe it’s because I cut back some of the other trees that were swamping it a bit this year, or maybe I’ve just never paid attention before the birds got them before.
Either way, I got all excited.
‘A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.’

What random act of wildness have you done today?
