Reasons To Be Cheerful 1, 2, 3…

It’s that time of the week again! Right now, I am not cheerful at all, I’m having a bit of a down. However I have had a good week and hopefully looking back at it will make me feel a bit brighter.

The flat is cleaner and tidier than it has been in ages.

I have been doing lots of cleaning. Major cleaning. I’m guessing it’s nesting instincts and whatnot but mostly it’s been because my attention span for anything has been about 5 minutes before I get fed up. My blogging has suffered a little from this but I’m sure I’ll get back on track soon.

Sy’s Dad and family came to visit.

It’s been a while since Tori saw her Grandad and Aunty Sonya  and her ‘cousins’ – It was lovely to see them all and Tori enjoyed having some new people to pester 🙂

I’ve spent some fun time with Tori

I’ve sat down at the kitchen table a couple of times with Tori and done lots of colouring in and made a Nara-Bug with her from a kit off a magazine her Daddy bought for her. It was nice to spend a bit of time with her and encouraging her to try new things – she has almost got the hang of the concept of stickers now.

Hopefully next week one of my reasons will be that BabyBump has arrived and is no longer a Bump but will be a Baby. If not, I will be even grumpier than today because I’m getting fed up of being ’round’ now and would like to feel like a human being again instead of a beached whale…

Now hop on over to Michelle’s blog via the button and see everyone else’s reasons to be cheerful for this week 🙂

  1. Ohh how I remember being fed up of being PG. How very exciting that you might be writing a reasons post next week with a babe in arms!

Hope your weekend is great. Mich x
