You know how lots of people have embarrassing photos pinned up on the inside of the toilet door for visitors to laugh at? Well in our house we have lots of random sheets of funny facts and fiction (and a magnetic dart board and scoresheet for visitors) and there is one in particular that I read a lot.
It was written by a Regina Brett when she was 45 years old. She wrote it to celebrate what life has taught her as she grew older – it is a list of 45 lessons she has learned and I take hope from it regularly.
Because of this I wanted to share the list, bit by bit, and maybe the odd snippet of how I have learned the same. Or a picture I think fits. Or sometimes I expect it will just be her lesson.
I just want to share them and hope that maybe they touch other people like they have me.
Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
