Don’t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
We all have things where we could have gone and done something but said ‘meh, I don’t fancy it today’ and then never got the opportunity to do it again.
Do it. Whatever it is, do it. Take a day off work and go. Get a babysitter in and go. Whatever you have to do to get there, do it and GO.
Being a GamesMaker for the Olympics is costing me a small fortune in train fares and using up almost all my babysitting quota for the next five years but I’m still doing it. It’s a once in a lifetime chance, so what if it means I have to miss out on a few meals out or buy less treats in the foodshop. I’m only getting this opportunity once so I’m grabbing it by the horns and doing it.
Go on. Live your life now. You only get one.
