It was beautiful again on Saturday so we took the Smalls to Tyrley Locks for a walk. It was chilly but stunning and we fed some ducks, said hello to one or two dogs who were out walking, jumped in puddles, kicked leaves and gave the Smalls their first lessons in the workings of canal lock gates.
I have fond memories of canal walks when I was a child. The biggest thrill of all was to see a boat coming through the lock and offer to help out, they would always oblige, though looking back I must have been a hindrance! Looks like your are making happy memories for your children there too. Thank you for linking and I love those wellies!
