As part of my nerve-calming before my child-free birthday treat weekend adventure to BritMums Live! I decided to go out and buy some new clothes to adopt the ‘look good, feel good’ attitude.
This is what I have decided on:
(Dress from Peacocks – lovely and light, comfy to wear and flattering in shape. Also looks good with a vest top underneath and jeans. £18)
(Another Peacocks dress – Again works with jeans and a top as well as on its own. Light and flattering and comfortable for all-day wear. Great addition to any Summer wardrobe at just £14)
I decided the dress-with-jeans look was the way to go to make me look pretty but still feel comfy even if the rooms get a bit hot and full of people. It also leaves the option of losing the jeans for the evening if I fancy glamming it up a little for the BiBs. I haven’t yet decided which I will wear on which day – that will be a decide when I get there thing I think!
I will be accessorising with my funky new bag which I got off Amazon and also a matching (almost) phone case which I got mostly because I wanted it and BritMums was as good an excuse as any…
So there you go – I will be (hopefully) looking all pretty and summery as well as rabbit-in-headlights-y 😉
