The Last Film You Saw At The Cinema
Over the Easter holidays Caius and I had a few days where the Smalls were off at their Dad’s and whilst I spent the day doing battle with the Spring Cleaning and Caius was at work, we decided to make the most of being able to just go out in the evening and went to our local Arts Theatre which has a small cinema and watched Non-Stop which I had heard a few good things about and starred Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson which appealed.
It was pretty good for a film where everyone is stuck on a plane so the action is very contained. It was quite fast paced and I liked the way text messages, which formed a large part of the threat in the film, were displayed on the screen quite cleverly. It did make us all chuckle at how the cracked phone screen conveniently blurred out what could just have been a couple of naughty words – a clever way of keeping it a 12A rating.
It made for a fun night out of the house and lived up to the recommendations I had been given.
