Your Favourite Drama Film

First thing I had to do there was look up the definition of ‘drama film’ – I’m so not in with the media lingo.

Anyway, once I had established what drama films were I decided that my favourite is probably Venus which stars the late, great Peter O’Toole and also Leslie Phillips. It’s a bit of an odd film, with numerous moments of awkwardness but they are deliberate and it all builds to a beautiful, if heartbreaking climax.

Well worth a watch if you ever come across it, which nobody ever seems to do. Most people I know totally missed its existence when it was released.
