…Mart!
You spend a lot of time with family and friends but it’s always interesting to find out more about them… and to ask them slightly odd questions and see what answers they come up with!
I’ve decided springing random interviews on family and friends will be a fun thing for CFHW because they are the people I choose to fill my life with and who help make me who I am. I talk about me all the time on here and now I think it’s time I shared the love!
Today I’ve thrown questions at my friend Mart. We’ve known each other since college, so he’s used to me talking utter gibberish at him fairly regularly:
I get to work with high voltages and push buttons and play with magnets, and gadgets.
I have to work night shifts. They’re the worst.
I’d love to be the cleaner for the ISS. Regular trips into space, not particularly stressful work, the commute would be out of this world though

I’d love to learn sign language. I think it’s such an underrated one that can really profoundly change how much joy you can bring to make somebody feel included, and it would also be kinda cool for secret conversations across a noisy room.
Probably penguins? It used to be cockatoos, and to an extent still is, but then a few too many documentaries like blue planet changed all that.
I’d be tempted to say I’d be a white crayon purely for survival reasons… but an immortal crayon existence would be a living hell and I’d probably end up praying for a death that would never come… so probably a red one because at least once I was used up I could die happy knowing I went out as some 3 year olds favourite fire truck
If you could host a dinner party and invite three guests (dead or alive), who would you choose?
Robin Williams, Bill Gates, and Nichelle Nichols
Okay, I wasn’t expecting the ISS cleaner answer but that’s a genius job choice! And the crayon response just made me think of The Day The Crayons Quit and made me giggle.
Yet another dinner party I’d love to attend as well, though I’d be a little star struck.
