I’m just gonna pretend I didn’t type November in the title there, that okay with you guys? Good.
It’s half term this week so my carefully laid plans could all go to pot, but hey ho. Yay for holidays!
Monday: Pesto Pasta with Peas – Busy day planned so something quick and easy for dinner.
Tuesday: Sloppy Joe Beef Buns and Chips – Technically this doesn’t contain anything the kids don’t like, so that means they’ll eat it, yes? I’ll let you know…
Wednesday: Homemade Pizza-style Bready Scrolls, chopped apple with toffee sauce & popcorn – This is actually lunch and it is being paired with a Hallowe’en film in a nod to the date. Dinner will be sandwiches or toast because there are things happening in the evening.
Thursday: Welsh Rarebit on Toast with bacon – I haven’t had Welsh Rarebit in aaaaaages. I am looking forward to this one!
Friday: Creamy Pork Stroganoff with Tagliatelle – Quick, easy and tasty. Perfect for a Friday evening!
Saturday: Freezer Lucky Dip – Just Caius and I tonight as the kids are away so I will see what I can unearth from the selection of badly-labelled tubs!
Sunday: Cottage Pie with Green Beans and Carrots – Trying out a recipe that has a hot-pot style topping instead of mash, hopefully it is tasty!
