Well, I ended January on 8 books finished and one more started which puts me ahead of target for my 2020 reading goal. I didn’t finish all the Winter Readathon books, as I predicted, but I do only have three left to read and conveniently February is still Winter so it’s all good.

So the three in the stack are the remaining Winter Readathon books:
The Paper & Hearts Society by Lucy Powrie (Prompt: Shorter Than The Last Book You Read)
Foxglove Summer by Ben Aaronovitch (Prompt: Book With Ghosts In)
My So-Called Bollywood Life by Nisha Sharma (Prompt: Book Off Your Top Shelf)
Then I have Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo which I have been dying to read forever and since listening to the Six of Crows Duology I realised I needed to bump it up my list because I want more Bardugo in my life.
Next up is Infinity Son by Adam Silvera – I was lucky enough to unexpectedly get the January Illumicrate and this was one of the books inside it and I just couldn’t wait to pick it up!
Finally, there will be one other book to read this month for sure but I don’t know what it is yet – my book swap book! I have picked out what I’m sending to my friend and excited to find out what she has chosen for me. But we don’t send them until the second week of the month so I have to wait and see!!
I do have an audiobook on the go as well, Red Rising by Pierce Brown, which I listen to whilst doing the housework and if I happen to be in the car on my own.
Oh, and there’s The Literary Pocket Companion by Emma Jones which I have been dipping in and out of since I got it at Christmas. I’m over half way through it now, so I should get it finished this month and then I can choose another non-fic to pootle along with in the background!
Plenty to keep me busy there!!
