Time for the blog hop that makes every week a little bit brighter ๐ And what a week it has been in our little household.
1.
BabyBump arrived!
Hooray!! Tuesday morning we were finally blessed with the arrival of our newest family member, Arthur Harry. I am biased, but he is perfect ๐ At a healthy 7lb 8oz, and having acquired a light-haired gene from somewhere he is a handsome little chap (though both me and his Daddy have both decided he has a look of Patrick Stewart about him on occasion…*resists urge to say ‘Make it so’ in a bad Star Trek impression*…)

It’s almost party time again!
It’s my Mum’s birthday this weekend, and my sister’s during the week after.
My sister and brother-in-law are coming up to visit so there is going to be lots of celebrations of lots of different birthdays, which undoubtedly is going to involve cake and bubbles and probably food and definitely lots of smiling and laughter.
I can’t wait!
3.
We’re already learning.
For all we were excited about our new baby arriving we were a little frightened of how we were going to adapt, how Tori was going to react etc etc. It’s only been a few days but we seem to be finding our way and Tori is being brilliant. We feel like a family unit and, though we’ve still got LOTS of learning to do, it feels good and right and exciting.
And little sneaky reason 4.
I can see my feet.
It’s been a while. I have missed them.
What are your reasons to be cheerful this week? Link up via the button at the top and share the joy xx

Yay for Arthur and for Tori adjusting to the new change. Have a wonderful party showing off your little stunner. Mich x

He is so lovely. Well done you and welcome to the world to him and may all his happinesses be giant ones.
Two children is a whole new ball game but a joyous one so enjoy every moment.
You have so many reasons to be cheerful and long may that continue but one word of caution, don’t eat too much cake or those feet will turn invisible again
My reasons include new life too but not like yours over at http://gigglingatitall.blogspot.com
