This time next week we will be drowning in a flood of wrapping paper, chocolate and paper crowns that don’t actually fit anyone, but right now I’m getting myself in the Christmas spirit with a bit of festive window shopping.
I always wear a dress at Christmas – I’m not sure when it became a personal tradition but it has and I often buy myself a new dress just for the occasion (or else I dig out an old favourite for a reunion). I haven’t decided what I’m going to wear this year yet but there is so much out there to choose from I’m sure I will find something!
Now then, on to the window shopping…
This Christmas Reindeer Tunic is from George at Asda and 6% of the £16 price tag is donated to Save the Children so not only do you get an adorable glittery reindeer top, you share the Christmas love, too!
I am a huge Joe Browns fan – not so much of a fan of their prices though – I have quite a few bits from theirs but all sale purchases or eBay bargains. I LOVE this Sequin Dance With Me dress from their winter collection – it would be a perfect dress for a party or Christmas day. Simple but striking, I’m not normally a big fan of gold things but this one has really caught my eye.
This Deer Fable Dress from White Stuff (available at John Lewis) is just gorgeous. I love the deer leaping around the bottom of the skirt and it looks lovely and cosy as well.
Now you just can’t beat a good jumper and this Lapland Print Jumper from M&S is a great, subtly festive one which looks perfect both for wearing out and about AND just curling up on the sofa in. I love the girly colours too.
No Christmas outfit is complete without some Christmas earrings and I love how colourful (and tuneful) these ones from Asda are. Christmas is pretty much the only time of year I don’t mind when my outfit jingles as I walk!
