HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you had a fun NYE and here’s to 2018 being a good one overall. 🙂
I have a confession – ever since November I have been in a bit of a reading slump and haven’t finished anything other than two books I got for Christmas that were each under 50 pages long.
Bearing this in mind, I am only setting my book target for 2018 at 36 books. That’s three a month, I should be able to manage that!
I’m only picking out three books for January, two of which I have already started but abandoned grumpily in my funk. I might read more, I might not finish them, but I’m not going to beat myself up over it because reading is meant to be fun so I’m not going to force myself through if my heart’s not in it. I’ll get back in the groove when my brain is ready 🙂
What Does This Button Do? by Bruce Dickinson – Halfway through this one – it’s really interesting so far.
The Exact Opposite Of Okay by Laura Steven – Enjoyed the couple of chapters of this I have read so far. Still totally in love with the cover!
In Cold Blood by Truman Capote – Our Smut Club read for January is a non-fiction modern classic about the murder of a family in Kansas in the 1950s. Not my usual fayre but I’m willing to give it a good go!
