Outside My Window

Today outside my window there is a climbing frame, strung with cobwebs, and a particularly fat wood pigeon is sat at the top of the slide.

Some days outside my window there is a pirate ship, strung with ropes, and a pair of rapscallions swinging and whooping as they sail the seven seas.

Some days outside my window there is a space rocket, strung with lights, and a pair of astronauts marvelling at the galaxies no human eye has seen before.

Some days outside my window there is a ninja training school, strung with obstacles, and a duo of fighters ducking and weaving as they try to outwit each other.

Some days outside my window there is a castle, strung with flags, and a couple of knights bravely holding back waves of invaders with swords and arrows.

Some days outside my window there is a secret Jedi base, strung with vines, and a pair of Padawans duelling with lightsabers as they try to master the Force.

Some days outside my window there is a world I do not understand, strung with possibilities, and a duo of adventurers travelling to places I cannot see.

Today outside my window there is a climbing frame.
