It’s a special interview today because tomorrow Arthur is going to be turning an enormous seven years old so I decided to ask him a few questions. (I resisted asking ‘How did you get so big so fast?’ because I don’t think he’d have an answer that was satisfying.)
How old are you today?
Six!

Who’s your best friend?
Lucy. I love her lots.
What’s your favourite thing to do?
Making things and doing art. I’m an Art Ninja called Artie!
What’s your favourite colour?
Purple. Oh, and pink.
What’s your favourite thing to do with the whole family?
Go to the park and the beach and on exploring adventures.
What’s your favourite thing to do with just Mummy?
Go to the park.
What’s your favourite thing to do with just Caius?
Make fires and toasting marshmallows in the garden!
What’s your favourite thing to do with just Tori?
Play outside in the garden and run around.
What’s your favourite toy?
Everything in my Pokemon collection.
What’s your favourite book?
My Pokemon Encyclopedia because it tells me everything about Pokemon and has cool pictures.
What’s your favourite food?
Pancakes with honey and maple syrup. Yummy! And doughnuts too. Especially jam ones.
What’s your favourite film?
Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And the other Star Wars. And all the Minions movies. And the Lego Movie.
What makes you happy?
Having Mummy and Arthur Time
What makes you sad?
Tori annoying me. And when Caius shouts at me. And you shouting.
What do you want to do when you grow up?
Write stories, make things and do maths like you and Caius do.
Lastly, what’s your favourite animal?
CATS! All of the cats. And dogs! And especially wolves when they go AWOOOOOOOOOO at the moon!
