‘B’ is for ‘Burial Rites’ ~ I have rarely come across books written in such a way that I am so completely lost in them – I could hear, smell, taste and see everything she described throughout the book and I found myself almost feeling homesick after it was finished because I felt I had been there for the duration of the story.
My super-high reading totals haven’t happened quite so much over the last two months, but I have still been reading (and listening!). In March and April I read: The Night Has Claws (Magdeburg Trilogy #2) by Kat Kruger, 4/5* – I enjoyed this almost as much as book #1 and I am interested as to how…… Continue reading March & April Reading Round-Up
February has been a month full of sickness in our house but I have still managed to read 5 books and start a couple more. I have read: City of Glass (Mortal Instruments #3) by Cassandra Clare, 5/5*: This has been my favourite of the series so far although it did feel a bit like…… Continue reading February Reading Round-Up
So, this month I have a few MUST READS and therefore have an actual reading list to stick to. To start with at least. Some reviews can be found below and the rest by clicking the links: Invisible…… Continue reading March Reading Summary
Lucy Gives It Up For The Boss by Jackie White (Pure Fantasy Books, Kindle Edition) ~ 1/5* Opening Line: Lucy hated to admit it, but Gary did look hot in a black suit. ~ I’m not sure I can manage 100 words about this book really. There isn’t much to say. There is practically no…… Continue reading December Reading – 100 Word Reviews
New month, new challenge. January was a general success on the Tiddlyompompom Personal Challenge front, now it’s time for February. I’ve really had to think about this one because February is a month of ‘maybes’. I can make all the plans I want but with BabyBump reaching that ‘I’ll come when I’m ready thank you…… Continue reading February Challenge
